The gorgeous Kamalinee Mukherjee has landed a juicy role in the Telugu flick, Gopi… Gopika… Godavari which is directed by Telugu hot shot director Vamsi, presented by Anandi Arts and produced by Valluripalli Ramesh under Maharshi Cinema banner opposite Venu Thottempudi. Kamalinee Mukherjee came to the notice of Tamil audiences with her potrayal as Kamal Haasan's wife in his blockbuster Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu. Initially wowing Telugu audiences in the Telugu super hit, Gamyam, she has not truly taken off in Tamil cinema, though her performance in Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu received rave reviews. She was supposed to have done the movie, Pirivoam Sandhippoam but for some reason she didnt do it. The producer stated, “This movie will also feature Vamsi’s trademark comedy and it has a beautiful love story based in Konaseema’s scenic surroundings. We are planning a nine-day shoot in Hyderabad from November 4. Later, the unit will shift to Godavari and its surrounding areas to shoot the remaining portions. This is the first-ever collaboration of Venu, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Vamsi. We are sure that the film will earn a big name for the banners as well as for the film unit.” Once again Chakri is scoring music and Ramajogaiah Sastry is penning the lyrics. Cinematography is by Loki B. Goud, while editing is by Baswa Paidi Reddy. The regular shooting schedules are set to begin from November 4th.

Confirming rumors that Saran's ‘Modhi Vilayadu’ is all about the concept of 'rebirth', actress Kajal Agarwal has said she plays the role of a girl, who dies in 1400 AD and is born again to join hands with her lover.
'It's an out and out commercial script. Saran sir's treatment is amazing. He had worked hard to recreate 1400 in each and every aspect. I bet that everyone would love the film,' says Kajal, with all excitement.
On 'Saroja', she says, “Though my role is small, it is powerful. The film is all about some extraordinary things on an ordinary day.”
“I want to be a good performer and perform both homely and glamour roles”, she says adding: “The industry is no more a male-dominated one. There are enough opportunities for heroines to excel”, she says.
“I am doing two untitled ventures in Telugu. I am acting in a Ramcharan Teja's movie and a sequel to ‘Arya’ opposite Allu Arjun”, she adds.
