Genelia got 1 crore for "Katha"

According to sources, bubbly beauty Genelia has taken the top slot in Tollywood. This is purely on remuneration basis. The buzz is that the actress is being paid Rs 1 crore for her role in “Katha”.

Meanwhile the actress is not talking about the money. She says that she was impressed by the role and hence accepted it instantly.

The pretty girl is incidentally playing the role of a teacher while a newcomer is pairing up with her. The film is said to have reached the final stages of its making.

No Mahesh Babu In 'Ladies Night'

First in the list was young rebel star Prabhas and he was followed by aggressive star Gopichand, muscular stud Vishal and above all Nagarjuna. However, the list ended there and surprisingly, the name of Mahesh Babu was not taken. Those who heard it say that this is what happens when stars tend to work just 1 movie in 2 years or…is it really that Mahesh is no longer a ladies man???
