'Mareppa And TV5 Become Heroes'

The alleged news of Ambanis’ hand in YSR’s death has come out long ago in the month of October itself. But many news agencies couldn’t dare to publish that at least as an opinion as that’s too sensitive to handle. Some ruled out this as cock and bull story. But many feared to share as well. The news has come out with Merappa’s statement as well as the published news in American portal ‘The Exile’. People say that the guts of Mareppa should be appreciated to let these opinions out. And TV5 hooked to the news at right time with right supporting evidences. Today in Andhra Pradesh Electronic Media, TV5 became the hero.

Is Rosaiah government functioning?

The way APSRTC managing director S S P Yadav increased bus fares makes one wonder whether the Rosaiah government in the state is functioning at all.

Yadav issued orders on the increase in RTC bus fare hike abnormally without even bothering to submit a note to either Transport Minister Shatrucherla Vijayarama Raju or Chief Minister K Rosaiah. The RTC, though an autonomous corporation, operates under the Transport department because the government releases grant-in-aid to the corporation regularly. The MD and the chairman are appointed by the government and whenever employees go on strike, they held negotiations with transport secretary and the minister; and if necessary, the chief minister.

But Yadav chose to care a damn for the chief minister and transport minister. After issuing the orders, he went to New Delhi and from there to Agra for a jolly trip. When the media questioned him, he simply said there was no need to inform the government. “I have the authority to take the decision in the interest of the organisation. My responsibility is to bail out the organisation from losses,” he said. All that he did was to deny his alleged remarks against Rosaiah, as reported by Andhra Jyothy. The daily reported that in the board meeting, Yadav said he did not want to see the face of Rosaiah, who had messed up the administration in the state after the death of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Sathrucherla described Yadav’s decision to hike RTC fare as unilateral and was taken without informing him or the Chief Minister. He said the chief minister would take a decision on this as soon as possible and will also take action against the APSRTC managing director. It clearly reflects the sorry state of affairs in the Rosaiah government.
