SAKSHI SINGH RAWAT is a lucky girl, reason because she won women of the match trophy. Well, it is not cricket but life and relationship, she won the heart of calm and composed most successful cricket captain of India Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

 

Mahi, 29, got engaged to girlfriend Sakshi Singh Rawat, 21. Dhoni choose a secret location 20 km from Dehradun for this auspicious occasion.

 

Sakshi a graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management in Aurangabad and met Dhoni at a party in Mumbai hosted by Bipasa Basu in December in Mumbai. They know each other since December 2007. Their family knew each other from home town Ranchi.

 

Reportedly, Dhoni trimmed his popular long hair, all because Sakshi didn’t like it. She is said to have been present when he was getting his haircut. Although Dhoni has been constantly in limelight, mostly for his cricket, and rarely for personal relations but he has been linked to a string of actresses in the past.

Sourses present at the secret engagement location said Sakshi wore a lemon coloured sari on the occasion.

To keep the engagement a low-profile affair media was not allowed into the venue. Sources said Ashis Nehra and Harbhajan Singh were there along with very close family members.
