Few of them were in for a surprise when they heard her response regarding Gowthami. When asked about it, Shruti said bluntly that she already has a mother so she does not need a mother figure. She reiterated that Gowthami is her friend. Sources say that Shruti has strong affinity with Sarika, Kamal’s former wife and she did not want to upset Sarika in any way.
